HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED SPRINGS?

The basic guidelines for bikes is as follows

65cc (60-80lbs)

85 cc (80-100lbs)

125cc (130-150)

250cc (140-160)

450cc (160-180)

If the rider is above or below any of these weights you will generally need springs. Different makes and models of bikes may or may not fall under that criteria.

IS THERE A GUARANTEE

Yes. All work has a satisfaction guarantee. If the rider does not like the suspension after he receives it, then 2 changes/revalves will be free until said rider is happy with the performance.

All mechanical work is guaranteed for 30 days. If anything fails it will be fixed for free unless damage from a crash or extreme use is detected. Extreme use being mud race with standing water/water in the suspension. Damage to a fork tube from a crash or another rider will not be covered either.

DO I NEED TO HAVE MY SUSPENSION REVALVED?

Realistically only you can answer this question. If you are perfectly happy with the suspension performance, are within the guidelines of recommended weight then it may not be needed. If a rider approaches us for suspension work, and doesn't have any complaints, but thinks it can be better, changes will be made upon a consensus of riders who have ridden the bike and what changes they requested.

ARE COATINGS WORTH IT?

A question that is difficult to answer. If your suspension is stock, you are unhappy with the performance, but just want the coatings for looks, then that's up to you. It will not suddenly make you happy with the bikes performance. However, if you like your bike, and you are looking for a little competitive advantage then yes, you will notice a difference.  Forks will feel smoother and more fluid, with increased durability.

DO YOU SPONSOR RIDERS?

Sometimes. Riders can send resumes to our email sales@activeridesuspension.com however spots are extremely limited. The current business model for other companies is to overcharge retail customers, while offering a discount to all racers, in order to keep costs down we generally do not operate in this fashion. We much rather help some riders a lot and making the work less expensive for everyone.
